Our Robotics & Science programs in Tennessee are all about keeping elementary and middle school-aged children feeling inspired, motivated and engaged after school and beyond. If you have a budding programmer or engineer who loves to play with technology, he or she will feel right at home using hands-on, kid-friendly software to build and animate cool LEGO® robots. Newbie? No problem! No prior experience is needed, and our instructors are happy to modify to meet your child’s ability. All your son or daughter needs to pack is a little bit of imagination and creativity!
Learn Valuable STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers continuing to grow, there’s no time like the present to help your child develop vital 21st century skills. And that’s precisely what our Robotics & Science programs are designed to do: your son or daughter will build important competencies in areas like computer programming and problem solving while learning how to build and tinker with a variety of LEGO® robots. It’s a super cool way to gain an educational edge!
Here's What Makes Our Programs Great
Each Robotics & Science class in Tennessee is small, comfortable and personal (maximum of 12 students per session) and offers a unique mix of collaborative and self-guided projects. This means your child will receive personal attention while also developing new friendships with other aspiring programmers or engineers. Your son or daughter will work with a friend to build a new and exciting robot each session, using LEGO® bricks and interactive programming software to make the bots come alive. After each session wraps up, your child will fill out a project summary worksheet in order to bolster the STEM concepts learned that week — and to share his or her wonderful achievements with you!
Boost confidence! Our programs feature:
- Fun, interactive software that helps kids develop important programming skills — and that brings their robots to life!
- STEM-focused projects that are exciting, engaging and help your child develop 21st century skills
- Regular communication with parents, including weekly recaps, photos and a sneak peek of upcoming projects
- A supportive, small-group setting where imagination, creativity and confidence soar to new heights!
