Our Robotics & Sciences programs in South Carolina are an excellent way to ensure your elementary or middle-school aged son or daughter stays inspired, motivated and engaged outside of school. If you have a budding engineer who loves to tinker with technology, he or she will have a blast using interactive, kid-friendly software to build cool LEGO® robots. New to robotics? That’s ok! No prior knowledge is needed, and our teachers can modify lessons to suit your child’s ability. All your child needs to come equipped with is a little creativity and imagination!
Equip Your Child with Vital STEM Skills!
STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers are on the rise, which means now is a great time to equip your son or daughter with important 21st century competencies. And that’s exactly what our Robotics & Sciences courses in South Carolina provide: your child will develop skills in key areas including computer programming and problem solving as he or she learns how to construct and animate a number of LEGO® robots with a partner. It’s a fun way to get an educational boost!
Collaboration, Innovation and Fun Unite
With only up to 12 students per class, our Robotics & Sciences courses in South Carolina deliver a successful combination of collaborative and self-guided learning in an intimate, personal setting. This means your son or daughter will benefit from personal attention while at the same time fostering new friendships with like-minded peers. Working with a buddy, your child will construct a variety of robots using LEGO® bricks and kid-friendly software. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Our innovative courses feature:
- Kid-friendly programming software that helps students build practical skills — and that makes their bots come alive!
- Fun STEM-focused projects that excite, engage and equip students with key 21st century skills
- Weekly communication with parents, which includes a session summary, pictures and a preview of next week’s project
- A personal, supportive educational environment where imagination, creativity and new friendships blossom!
