It’s no secret that Sylvan’s Engineering courses in the Columbia region are fun, but did you know that they also help equip your child with valuable STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills? Via hands-on projects and collaborative group work, your son or daughter will acquire important critical thinking and problem solving abilities that can make a positive impact both inside and outside of the classroom.

Calling all Budding Engineers

From constructing multifaceted structures to testing and rebuilding them in order to try out a different solution, your son or daughter will be taking on challenges just like a real engineer! Our immersive courses provide the ideal environment for your aspiring engineer to learn foundational science, architectural and engineering concepts while firing up his or her creativity and imagination throughout the process. We also get parents in on the fun by providing regular email communication to fill you in on the cool new projects your child worked on each week. In addition, we’ll provide a sneak peek of the next week’s project so the whole family can get excited for the next fun project!

Our Engineering programs in the Columbia region include:
