Engineers need to be problem solvers with plenty of creativity and imagination. Sylvan's Engineering courses in Pennsylvania give budding engineers the chance to build these types of skills — and have a whole lot of fun as they do! Kids love to figure out how toys, gadgets and other devices work, so we tailor our sessions to explore real-world challenges in architecture and mechanics. Every week, your child will partner with a friend to build, test and redesign structures, mastering important STEM concepts (science, technology, engineering and math) along the way. After all, learning doesn't feel like a frustration when it's a lot of fun at the same time!

Let's Get Hands-On
The most effective way to understand critical engineering concepts is to use them to overcome real-life challenges. That's why we present our students with new LEGO® and K'NEX® building activities every week. That's why generations of families have turned to Sylvan to lay the foundations for future success. In other words, you can count on us to engage, support and excite the budding engineer, architect or mechanic in your family — so expect race cars, bridges and other stimulating projects to become the main topic of conversation during your car rides together!
