Our Robotics & Science programs in Oregon are an excellent way to ensure your elementary or middle-school aged son or daughter stays inspired, motivated and engaged outside of school. If you have a budding engineer who loves to tinker with technology, he or she will have a blast using interactive, kid-friendly software to build cool LEGO® robots. Newbie? No problem! No prior experience is needed, and our instructors are happy to modify to meet your child’s ability. All your child needs to come equipped with is a little creativity and imagination!
Learn Valuable STEM Skills!
With careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) steadily increasing, now is the right time to equip your son or daughter with critical 21st century competencies. And our Robotics & Science courses in Oregon are designed to provide exactly that: your child will acquire important competencies in key areas including programming and problem solving as he or she navigates interactive software and learns how to build and animate fun LEGO® robots with friends. After school learning doesn’t get much cooler than this!
Here's What Makes Our Programs Great
Each Robotics & Science class in Oregon is small, comfortable and personal (maximum of 12 students per session) and offers a unique mix of collaborative and self-guided projects. This means your child will receive personal attention while also developing new friendships with other aspiring programmers or engineers. Using cool LEGO® bricks and fun software, your child will team up with a partner to construct and animate a different robot every week. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Our innovative courses feature:
- Intuitive, kid-friendly software that helps students build valuable programming skills — and that animates their robotic creations!
- STEM-related activities that are fun, engaging and equip your child with vital 21st century competencies
- Ongoing communication with parents, including emailing you after each session with pictures, highlights and a preview of what’s coming next
- A supportive learning environment where imagination is encouraged, creativity is fostered and new friendships flourish!
