Our Robotics & Science courses in North Carolina are a great way to keep your elementary or middle school-aged child inspired, motivated and engaged outside of the classroom. If your son or daughter loves to play with technology, he or she will have an amazing time navigating kid-friendly software to construct and animate an assortment of cool LEGO® robots. New to robotics? That’s ok! No prior knowledge is needed, and our teachers can modify lessons to suit your child’s ability. All your son or daughter needs to pack is a little bit of imagination and creativity!
There's No Better Time to Learn STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers growing so quickly, there’s no better time to equip your child with crucial 21st century skills. And our Robotics & Science programs in North Carolina deliver just that: your child will master vital competencies like computer programming and problem solving as he or she learns how to build, analyze and troubleshoot LEGO® robots with friends. There’s no cooler way to get an educational edge!
Our Integrated Approach
Each Robotics & Science class in North Carolina is small, comfortable and personal (maximum of 12 students per session) and offers a unique mix of collaborative and self-guided projects. This means your son or daughter will be able to receive personalized attention while also making new friends with other budding engineers or programmers. Your child will work with a partner to build a new robot each week, using LEGO® bricks to construct their creations and computer programming software to bring the bots to life. After each class, your child will work on an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM skills learned in class — and to share with you all the cool and exciting things he or she did!
Our hands-on courses include:
- Kid-friendly programming software that helps students build practical skills — and that makes their bots come alive!
- Fun STEM-focused projects that excite, engage and equip students with key 21st century skills
- Weekly communication with parents, which includes a session summary, pictures and a preview of next week’s project
- A personal, supportive educational environment where imagination, creativity and new friendships blossom!
