Our Robotics & Sciences courses in Nevada are a great way to keep your elementary or middle school-aged child inspired, motivated and engaged outside of the classroom. If you have a budding programmer or engineer who loves to play with technology, he or she will feel right at home using hands-on, kid-friendly software to build and animate cool LEGO® robots. First timer? Not a problem. No experience is necessary, and our teachers are happy to adjust to your child’s ability. All your child has to bring is his or her creativity and imagination!
Equip Your Child with Vital STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers continuing to grow, there’s no time like the present to help your child develop vital 21st century skills. And that’s precisely what our Robotics & Sciences programs are designed to do: your son or daughter will build important competencies in areas like computer programming and problem solving while learning how to build and tinker with a variety of LEGO® robots. It’s a super cool way to gain an educational edge!
Collaboration, Innovation and Fun Unite
With no more than 12 students per class, our Robotics & Sciences courses in Nevada offer a unique combination of collaborative activities and self-guided instruction in a small group setting. This means your child will enjoy both personal attention and the camaraderie of working with like-minded students. Your child will work with a partner to build a new robot each week, using LEGO® bricks to construct their creations and computer programming software to bring the bots to life. After each class, your child will work on an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM skills learned in class — and to share with you all the cool and exciting things he or she did!
Boost imagination! Our programs include:
- Intuitive, kid-friendly software that helps students build valuable programming skills — and that animates their robotic creations!
- STEM-related activities that are fun, engaging and equip your child with vital 21st century competencies
- Ongoing communication with parents, including emailing you after each session with pictures, highlights and a preview of what’s coming next
- A supportive learning environment where imagination is encouraged, creativity is fostered and new friendships flourish!
