21st Century Programs

It’s no secret that Sylvan’s Engineering courses in the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek region are fun, but did you know that they also help equip your child with valuable STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills? Via hands-on projects and collaborative group work, your son or daughter will acquire important critical thinking and problem solving abilities that can make a positive impact both inside and outside of the classroom.

Calling all Budding Engineers

From building sophisticated structures to testing, deconstructing and redesigning them all over again with a better solution, your child will be thinking and problem solving like a real engineer! Through our interactive programs, your aspiring engineer will learn important science, architectural and engineering concepts while powering up his or her imagination and creativity each and every week. We also get parents in on the fun by providing regular email communication to fill you in on the cool new projects your child worked on each week. We also send a preview of the upcoming week’s project so you and your son or daughter can gear up for what’s next!
