Our Robotics for Kids programs in Iowa are all about keeping elementary and middle school-aged children feeling inspired, motivated and engaged after school and beyond. If your son or daughter loves to play with technology, he or she will have an amazing time navigating kid-friendly software to construct and animate an assortment of cool LEGO® robots. First timer? Not a problem. No experience is necessary, and our teachers are happy to adjust to your child’s ability. All your child needs to come equipped with is a little creativity and imagination!
Build In-Demand STEM Skills!
With careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) steadily increasing, now is the right time to equip your son or daughter with critical 21st century competencies. And our Robotics for Kids Course in Iowa are designed to provide exactly that: your child will acquire important competencies in key areas including programming and problem solving as he or she navigates interactive software and learns how to build and animate fun LEGO® robots with friends. After school learning doesn’t get much cooler than this!▼
Our Integrated Approach
With a maximum of 12 students per session, our Robotics for Kids programs in Iowa provide an effective mix of collaborative projects and personal learning in a comfortable, small group environment. This means your child will enjoy both personal attention and the camaraderie of working with like-minded students. Using cool LEGO® bricks and fun software, your child will team up with a partner to construct and animate a different robot every week. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Our hands-on courses include:
