The fun begins with Sylvan’s Engineering programs in the Chicagoland. Each and every week, your child will dive into a cool new project, such as designing, building and testing a machine or bridge using LEGO® bricks or K’NEX® pieces. Watch your child’s creativity soar as he or she constructs these complex creations with a partner and challenges other teams to friendly games and competitions. Equipping your child with these skills can help make a big impact not only in school and college, but also in future careers.
An Education Designed for the 21st Century
In addition to offering big-time fun and excitement, Sylvan’s Engineering programs in the Chicagoland also provide your child with opportunities to learn important STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) competencies. Through a combination of hands-on learning, teamwork and creative projects, your child will develop valuable critical thinking and problem solving abilities that can make a positive difference in school and beyond!▼
Aspiring Engineers Unite!
From building sophisticated structures to testing, deconstructing and redesigning them all over again with a better solution, your child will be thinking and problem solving like a real engineer! Our hands-on programs are a fun and innovative way to help your eager inventor understand essential science, architectural and engineering concepts while getting creative and firing up his or her imagination in the process. Parents are kept in the loop through our regular email communication, so you can see your child’s progress and celebrate his or her achievements. In addition, we’ll provide a sneak peek of the next week’s project so the whole family can get excited for the next fun project!
