Our Robotics & Sciences courses in Idaho are a great way to keep your elementary or middle school-aged child inspired, motivated and engaged outside of the classroom. If you have a budding programmer or engineer who loves to play with technology, he or she will feel right at home using hands-on, kid-friendly software to build and animate cool LEGO® robots. First timer? Not a problem. No experience is necessary, and our teachers are happy to adjust to your child’s ability. All your child has to bring is his or her creativity and imagination!
Equip Your Child with Vital STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers continuing to grow, there’s no time like the present to help your child develop vital 21st century skills. And that’s precisely what our Robotics & Sciences programs are designed to do: your son or daughter will build important competencies in areas like computer programming and problem solving while learning how to build and tinker with a variety of LEGO® robots. It’s a super cool way to gain an educational edge!
Collaboration, Innovation and Fun Unite
With no more than 12 students per class, our Robotics & Sciences courses in Idaho offer a unique combination of collaborative activities and self-guided instruction in a small group setting. This means your child will enjoy both personal attention and the camaraderie of working with like-minded students. Your son or daughter will work with a friend to build a new and exciting robot each session, using LEGO® bricks and interactive programming software to make the bots come alive. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Boost imagination! Our programs include:
- Intuitive, kid-friendly software that helps students build valuable programming skills — and that animates their robotic creations!
- STEM-related activities that are fun, engaging and equip your child with vital 21st century competencies
- Ongoing communication with parents, including emailing you after each session with pictures, highlights and a preview of what’s coming next
- A supportive learning environment where imagination is encouraged, creativity is fostered and new friendships flourish!
