Our Robotics for Kids programs in Georgia are an excellent way to ensure your elementary or middle-school aged son or daughter stays inspired, motivated and engaged outside of school. If your son or daughter loves to play with technology, he or she will have an amazing time navigating kid-friendly software to construct and animate an assortment of cool LEGO® robots. New to robotics? That’s ok! No prior knowledge is needed, and our teachers can modify lessons to suit your child’s ability. All your son or daughter needs to pack is a little bit of imagination and creativity!
Build In-Demand STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers continuing to grow, there’s no time like the present to help your child develop vital 21st century skills. And that’s precisely what our Robotics for Kids programs are designed to do: your son or daughter will build important competencies in areas like computer programming and problem solving while learning how to build and tinker with a variety of LEGO® robots. It’s a super cool way to gain an educational edge!▼
Here's What Makes Our Programs Great
Each Robotics for Kids class in Georgia is small, comfortable and personal (maximum of 12 students per session) and offers a unique mix of collaborative and self-guided projects. This means your child will enjoy both personal attention and the camaraderie of working with like-minded students. Your child will work with a partner to build a new robot each week, using LEGO® bricks to construct their creations and computer programming software to bring the bots to life. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Our innovative courses feature:
- Hands-on software that helps kids learn fundamental programming skills — and that animates the unique robots they built!
- A STEM curriculum that’s fun, interactive and equips students with essential 21st century abilities
- Ongoing communication with parents, which features a session recap, photos and a preview of what’s in store the following week
- A collaborative, supportive setting where imagination and creativity grow — and where new friendships thrive!
