Our Robotics for Kids programs in Connecticut are all about keeping elementary and middle school-aged children feeling inspired, motivated and engaged after school and beyond. Your aspiring engineer will have an amazing time tinkering with kid-friendly technology to construct a variety of LEGO® robots. First timer? Not a problem. No experience is necessary, and our teachers are happy to adjust to your child’s ability. All your child needs to come equipped with is a little creativity and imagination!
Equip Your Child with Vital STEM Skills!
STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers are on the rise, which means now is a great time to equip your son or daughter with important 21st century competencies. And that’s exactly what our Robotics for Kids courses in Connecticut provide: your child will develop skills in key areas including computer programming and problem solving as he or she learns how to construct and animate a number of LEGO® robots with a partner. It’s a fun way to get an educational boost!▼
Our Integrated Approach
With no more than 12 students per class, our Robotics for Kids courses in Connecticut offer a unique combination of collaborative activities and self-guided instruction in a small group setting. This means your child will enjoy both personal attention and the camaraderie of working with like-minded students. Working with a buddy, your child will construct a variety of robots using LEGO® bricks and kid-friendly software. After each class, your child will work on an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM skills learned in class — and to share with you all the cool and exciting things he or she did!
Our hands-on courses include:
- Intuitive, kid-friendly software that helps students build valuable programming skills — and that animates their robotic creations!
- STEM-related activities that are fun, engaging and equip your child with vital 21st century competencies
- Ongoing communication with parents, including emailing you after each session with pictures, highlights and a preview of what’s coming next
- A supportive learning environment where imagination is encouraged, creativity is fostered and new friendships flourish!
