Our Robotics & Sciences programs in Connecticut are all about keeping elementary and middle school-aged children feeling inspired, motivated and engaged after school and beyond. If you have a budding engineer who loves to tinker with technology, he or she will have a blast using interactive, kid-friendly software to build cool LEGO® robots. New to robotics? That’s ok! No prior knowledge is needed, and our teachers can modify lessons to suit your child’s ability. All your son or daughter has to bring to class is a little creativity and a big imagination!
There's No Better Time to Learn STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers continuing to grow, there’s no time like the present to help your child develop vital 21st century skills. And that’s precisely what our Robotics & Sciences programs are designed to do: your son or daughter will build important competencies in areas like computer programming and problem solving while learning how to build and tinker with a variety of LEGO® robots. It’s a super cool way to gain an educational edge!
Here's What Makes Our Programs Great
With a maximum of 12 students per session, our Robotics & Sciences programs in Connecticut provide an effective mix of collaborative projects and personal learning in a comfortable, small group environment. This means your son or daughter will be able to receive personalized attention while also making new friends with other budding engineers or programmers. Your child will work with a partner to build a new robot each week, using LEGO® bricks to construct their creations and computer programming software to bring the bots to life. After each session wraps up, your child will fill out a project summary worksheet in order to bolster the STEM concepts learned that week — and to share his or her wonderful achievements with you!
Our hands-on courses include:
- Fun, interactive software that helps kids develop important programming skills — and that brings their robots to life!
- STEM-focused projects that are exciting, engaging and help your child develop 21st century skills
- Regular communication with parents, including weekly recaps, photos and a sneak peek of upcoming projects
- A supportive, small-group setting where imagination, creativity and confidence soar to new heights!
