Sylvan’s Coding for Kids courses in Connecticut are tailored for kids who love to be creative and imaginative — and who love playing with technology! These interactive courses provide a fun and motivating way for elementary and middle school children to learn life-long skills while making new friends and designing their very own video game. We provide programs that have kid-friendly formats, which means your child will take on highly interactive challenges, tasks and activities that present new and interesting ideas every week.
Modern Skills for Modern Kids
Our Coding for Kids courses in Connecticut are all about fun and excitement, but they also help kids gain critical 21st century skills. We focus on important STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills that are increasingly needed for success in a growing digital world. So your child won't only have fun making video games and creating digital animations — he or she will also pick up essential coding, programming and problem solving skills along the way.▼
Building Games — and Confidence!
Our Coding for Kids courses boost confidence! Classes have clear objectives and outcomes, so your child will make steady progress and look forward to sharing his or her achievements every week. Your child will also participate in a wrap-up activity at the end of each session, which will help strengthen the skills he or she learned in class. On top of that, we provide a link to your child’s weekly programming project, which allows you to be involved in his or her exciting progress and share it with family and friends.
