The fun begins with Sylvan’s Engineering programs in the Hartford and New Haven region. Each and every week, your child will dive into a cool new project, such as designing, building and testing a machine or bridge using LEGO® bricks or K’NEX® pieces. Watch your child’s creativity take flight as he or she builds these complex structures with a partner and participates in fun games and friendly challenges against other teams. It’s a novel way for your son or daughter to develop critical 21st century skills while solving problems just like an engineer!
Calling all Budding Engineers
Whether it’s constructing intricate structures or rebuilding them all over again in order to try out an alternate solution, your son or daughter will be tackling challenges and solving problems just like a real engineer! Our immersive courses provide the ideal environment for your aspiring engineer to learn foundational science, architectural and engineering concepts while firing up his or her creativity and imagination throughout the process. We also get parents in on the fun by providing regular email communication to fill you in on the cool new projects your child worked on each week. In addition, we’ll provide a sneak peek of the next week’s project so the whole family can get excited for the next fun project!
