The fun begins with Sylvan’s Engineering programs in the Hartford and New Haven region. Your child will love getting hands on with a different project every week, like building, testing and modifying a machine or bridge using K’NEX® pieces or LEGO® bricks. Watch your child’s creativity soar as he or she constructs these complex creations with a partner and challenges other teams to friendly games and competitions. It’s an exciting way for your child to solve problems just like an engineer and develop valuable 21st century skills in the process!
Calling all Budding Engineers
From designing and building cool structures to tweaking and rebuilding them to test out a different approach, your child will be solving challenges just like a real engineer! Our hands-on programs are a fantastic way for your budding inventor to gain a solid grasp of engineering, science and architectural concepts while also igniting his or her imagination and creativity along the way. We also get parents in on the fun by providing regular email communication to fill you in on the cool new projects your child worked on each week. We will also provide a preview of the upcoming week’s project so you and your child can gear up for the next cool activity!
