Our Robotics for Kids courses in California are a great way to keep your elementary or middle school-aged child inspired, motivated and engaged outside of the classroom. If you have a budding programmer or engineer who loves to play with technology, he or she will feel right at home using hands-on, kid-friendly software to build and animate cool LEGO® robots. New to robotics? That’s ok! No prior knowledge is needed, and our teachers can modify lessons to suit your child’s ability. All your child needs to come equipped with is a little creativity and imagination!
Learn Valuable STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers continuing to grow, there’s no time like the present to help your child develop vital 21st century skills. And that’s precisely what our Robotics for Kids programs are designed to do: your son or daughter will build important competencies in areas like computer programming and problem solving while learning how to build and tinker with a variety of LEGO® robots. It’s a super cool way to gain an educational edge!▼
Collaboration, Innovation and Fun Unite
With a maximum of 12 students per session, our Robotics for Kids programs in California provide an effective mix of collaborative projects and personal learning in a comfortable, small group environment. This means your son or daughter will be able to receive personalized attention while also making new friends with other budding engineers or programmers. Using cool LEGO® bricks and fun software, your child will team up with a partner to construct and animate a different robot every week. After each class, your child will work on an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM skills learned in class — and to share with you all the cool and exciting things he or she did!
