Our Robotics & Science programs in Prince Edward Island are an excellent way to ensure your elementary or middle-school aged son or daughter stays inspired, motivated and engaged outside of school. If you have a budding programmer or engineer who loves to play with technology, he or she will feel right at home using hands-on, kid-friendly software to build and animate cool LEGO® robots. Newbie? No problem! No prior experience is needed, and our instructors are happy to modify to meet your child’s ability. All your child needs to come equipped with is a little creativity and imagination!
There's No Better Time to Learn STEM Skills!
STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers are on the rise, which means now is a great time to equip your son or daughter with important 21st century competencies. And that’s exactly what our Robotics & Science courses in Prince Edward Island provide: your child will develop skills in key areas including computer programming and problem solving as he or she learns how to construct and animate a number of LEGO® robots with a partner. It’s a fun way to get an educational boost!
Our Integrated Approach
Each Robotics & Science class in Prince Edward Island is small, comfortable and personal (maximum of 12 students per session) and offers a unique mix of collaborative and self-guided projects. This means your child will enjoy both personal attention and the camaraderie of working with like-minded students. Your son or daughter will work with a friend to build a new and exciting robot each session, using LEGO® bricks and interactive programming software to make the bots come alive. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Boost imagination! Our programs include:
- Intuitive, kid-friendly software that helps students build valuable programming skills — and that animates their robotic creations!
- STEM-related activities that are fun, engaging and equip your child with vital 21st century competencies
- Ongoing communication with parents, including emailing you after each session with pictures, highlights and a preview of what’s coming next
- A supportive learning environment where imagination is encouraged, creativity is fostered and new friendships flourish!
