Boost Your Child's Skills and Potential

Fun is the name of the game with our Coding for Kids courses in Ontario, but that's not all: they're also the perfect way for your child to learn about and develop vital 21st century skills. In fact, the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) skills we emphasize are increasingly demanded as the digital world continues to grow. Your child will have a great time making digital animations and creating video games — tasks that include important problem solving, programming and basic coding skills.

Play and Learn? Now You Can!

Coding for Kids boosts confidence! Each class has a clear objective and outcome, so your child will work toward a goal and be proud to share his or her accomplishments with you each week. Your child will also participate in a wrap-up activity at the end of each session, which will help strengthen the skills he or she learned in class. On top of that, we provide a link to your child’s weekly programming project, which allows you to be involved in his or her exciting progress and share it with family and friends.

During Each Session, Your Child Will:

  • Learn how to create characters, animations, sounds and special effects using kid-friendly Tynker™ technology
  • Develop mini-stories, working towards a final video game design that can be shared and played with friends
  • Build important 21st century skills — including programming, logic and computational competencies — while experimenting with his or her own project
  • Collaborate with other kids and make new friends!
