Our Robotics for Kids programs in Nova Scotia are an excellent way to ensure your elementary or middle-school aged son or daughter stays inspired, motivated and engaged outside of school. If you have a budding engineer who loves to tinker with technology, he or she will have a blast using interactive, kid-friendly software to build cool LEGO® robots. First timer? Not a problem. No experience is necessary, and our teachers are happy to adjust to your child’s ability. All your child needs to come equipped with is a little creativity and imagination!
Equip Your Child with Vital STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers continuing to grow, there’s no time like the present to help your child develop vital 21st century skills. And that’s precisely what our Robotics for Kids programs are designed to do: your son or daughter will build important competencies in areas like computer programming and problem solving while learning how to build and tinker with a variety of LEGO® robots. It’s a super cool way to gain an educational edge!▼
Collaboration, Innovation and Fun Unite
With no more than 12 students per class, our Robotics for Kids courses in Nova Scotia offer a unique combination of collaborative activities and self-guided instruction in a small group setting. This means your child will receive personal attention while also developing new friendships with other aspiring programmers or engineers. Using cool LEGO® bricks and fun software, your child will team up with a partner to construct and animate a different robot every week. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Our innovative courses feature:
- Kid-friendly programming software that helps students build practical skills — and that makes their bots come alive!
- Fun STEM-focused projects that excite, engage and equip students with key 21st century skills
- Weekly communication with parents, which includes a session summary, pictures and a preview of next week’s project
- A personal, supportive educational environment where imagination, creativity and new friendships blossom!
