Our Robotics for Kids courses in Nova Scotia are a great way to keep your elementary or middle school-aged child inspired, motivated and engaged outside of the classroom. If you have a budding engineer who loves to tinker with technology, he or she will have a blast using interactive, kid-friendly software to build cool LEGO® robots. New to robotics? That’s ok! No prior knowledge is needed, and our teachers can modify lessons to suit your child’s ability. All your son or daughter needs to pack is a little bit of imagination and creativity!
There's No Better Time to Learn STEM Skills!
With careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) steadily increasing, now is the right time to equip your son or daughter with critical 21st century competencies. And our Robotics for Kids Course in Nova Scotia are designed to provide exactly that: your child will acquire important competencies in key areas including programming and problem solving as he or she navigates interactive software and learns how to build and animate fun LEGO® robots with friends. After school learning doesn’t get much cooler than this!▼
Here's What Sets Our Programs Apart
With only up to 12 students per class, our Robotics for Kids courses in Nova Scotia deliver a successful combination of collaborative and self-guided learning in an intimate, personal setting. This means your son or daughter will be able to receive personalized attention while also making new friends with other budding engineers or programmers. Working with a buddy, your child will construct a variety of robots using LEGO® bricks and kid-friendly software. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Our innovative courses feature:
- Kid-friendly programming software that helps students build practical skills — and that makes their bots come alive!
- Fun STEM-focused projects that excite, engage and equip students with key 21st century skills
- Weekly communication with parents, which includes a session summary, pictures and a preview of next week’s project
- A personal, supportive educational environment where imagination, creativity and new friendships blossom!
