With Sylvan’s Engineering programs in the Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton region, learning is fun and exciting! Your son or daughter can expect to complete a different hands-on project each week, including designing, testing and tweaking bridges and machines using K’NEX® pieces or LEGO® bricks. Watch your child’s creativity take flight as he or she builds these complex structures with a partner and participates in fun games and friendly challenges against other teams. Attention all Aspiring Engineers
From designing and building cool structures to tweaking and rebuilding them to test out a different approach, your child will be solving challenges just like a real engineer! Through our interactive programs, your aspiring engineer will learn important science, architectural and engineering concepts while powering up his or her imagination and creativity each and every week. We also keep parents informed by sending out regular communication, including a recap of each week’s project. We’ll also preview the following week’s project so you and your child can gear up for the next fun activity!
Here’s what you can expect:
- Cool, interactive projects that feature building machines with LEGO® bricks to designing a variety of bridge types with K’NEX® pieces.
- STEM-based learning that focuses on teaching valuable 21st century skills.
- A personalized educational environment, with a 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio and no more than 12 students per session.
- Regular emails throughout the program to keep parents informed.
