Our Robotics for Kids programs in Manitoba are an excellent way to ensure your elementary or middle-school aged son or daughter stays inspired, motivated and engaged outside of school. If you have a budding engineer who loves to tinker with technology, he or she will have a blast using interactive, kid-friendly software to build cool LEGO® robots. New to this type of thing? No worries! No past experience is required, and our instructors will gladly tweak teachings to meet your child’s needs. All your son or daughter has to bring to class is a little creativity and a big imagination!
There's No Better Time to Learn STEM Skills!
STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers are on the rise, which means now is a great time to equip your son or daughter with important 21st century competencies. And that’s exactly what our Robotics for Kids courses in Manitoba provide: your child will develop skills in key areas including computer programming and problem solving as he or she learns how to construct and animate a number of LEGO® robots with a partner. It’s a fun way to get an educational boost!▼
Here's What Makes Our Programs Great
Each Robotics for Kids class in Manitoba is small, comfortable and personal (maximum of 12 students per session) and offers a unique mix of collaborative and self-guided projects. This means your child will receive personal attention while also developing new friendships with other aspiring programmers or engineers. Working with a buddy, your child will construct a variety of robots using LEGO® bricks and kid-friendly software. After each class comes to a close, your child will complete an activity summary worksheet to help reinforce the STEM competencies learned in class — and to show you all the cool new things he or she learned in class!
Boost imagination! Our programs include:
- Fun, interactive software that helps kids develop important programming skills — and that brings their robots to life!
- STEM-focused projects that are exciting, engaging and help your child develop 21st century skills
- Regular communication with parents, including weekly recaps, photos and a sneak peek of upcoming projects
- A supportive, small-group setting where imagination, creativity and confidence soar to new heights!
