The Sylvan Experience

Your local Sylvan centre in Manitoba has a maximum student-to-teacher ratio of 6:1 — and a maximum class size of 12 students per class —in order to ensure learning is both personal and attentive. We also consolidate that one-on-one attention with a varied assortment of collaborative and independent tasks, helping kids stay engaged (and motivated!) with a blend of learning methods that are proven to be effective.

That's why our students design and build LEGO® machines and K'NEX® structures each and every week. And the learning doesn't end once building is finished: students also learn how to test their creations, entering them in friendly contests and redesigning them according to the new principles learned.
