Our Robotics for Kids programs in Alberta are all about keeping elementary and middle school-aged children feeling inspired, motivated and engaged after school and beyond. If you have a budding programmer or engineer who loves to play with technology, he or she will feel right at home using hands-on, kid-friendly software to build and animate cool LEGO® robots. New to robotics? That’s ok! No prior knowledge is needed, and our teachers can modify lessons to suit your child’s ability. All your child has to bring is his or her creativity and imagination!
Learn Valuable STEM Skills!
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers growing so quickly, there’s no better time to equip your child with crucial 21st century skills. And our Robotics for Kids programs in Alberta deliver just that: your child will master vital competencies like computer programming and problem solving as he or she learns how to build, analyze and troubleshoot LEGO® robots with friends. There’s no cooler way to get an educational edge!▼
Here's What Sets Our Programs Apart
Each Robotics for Kids class in Alberta is small, comfortable and personal (maximum of 12 students per session) and offers a unique mix of collaborative and self-guided projects. This means your child will receive personal attention while also developing new friendships with other aspiring programmers or engineers. Your son or daughter will work with a friend to build a new and exciting robot each session, using LEGO® bricks and interactive programming software to make the bots come alive. At the end of each session, your child will complete a project summary worksheet in order to strengthen the STEM concepts learned in class — and to show you all the amazing things he or she accomplished!
Our innovative courses feature:
- Hands-on software that helps kids learn fundamental programming skills — and that animates the unique robots they built!
- A STEM curriculum that’s fun, interactive and equips students with essential 21st century abilities
- Ongoing communication with parents, which features a session recap, photos and a preview of what’s in store the following week
- A collaborative, supportive setting where imagination and creativity grow — and where new friendships thrive!
